TOTTENHAM SETTLE FOR DRAW

Tottenham had to settle with a 3-3 draw against the relegation threatened club West Bromwich as they dropped points and their chance of getting into a higher spots in the Premier League.

When the match was over, Tim Sherwood went on saying that his squad was dominating the encounter and they deserved on getting all 3 points but their defence was what caused them to only being able of picking up a draw.

‘’It was crazy. We might as well put 1-0 up on scoreboard before we start. At 3-0 I thought we were going to win the game. We totally dominated this football match,” he told the engeland italie odds website.

“We were disappointed with their third goal, we thought it was a foul, I’m trying to think of as many excuses for our defending, which was horrendous. I thought our supporters got us back in the game’’.

“They never left us; they are knowledgeable and knew we were battering West Brom. They never had a shot on goal in the second half Hugo Lloris was getting frostbite out there.” Sherwood said.

Sherwood is being linked with a move away from Tottenham as there are reports of him with the possibility of being sacked but the English coach admitted that he is simply enjoying life at White Hart Line and he is proud of what his players have been accomplishing so far.

“I am proud to be the manager of this great football club and long may it continue. The fans know I am with them, all I want is the best for this football club.”

In the previous season Tottenham finished on the 5th spot which was just enough for them to get into the Europa League but this time around Sherwood is struggling just to secure a spot that would allow them to fight in a European competition for the upcoming season.

Benfica knocked out Tottenham from the Europa League and now the only chance for them to get back competing in Europe is if they can get a top 5 spot in the Premier League.
